



Project Description
Upper Lohore KholaSmall Hydropower Project (ULKSHP), having installed capacity is 4.00 MW, is developed by Upper Lohore Khola Hydropower Company Limited. ULKSHP will generate 21.22 GWh energyannually. The project islocated in DailekhDistrict in Karnali Province of Nepal. The project area is located between 1055m and 1305m above mean sea level. The Head works, penstock alignment and the powerhouse area is located at left bank of the Upper Lohore Khola of Naumule Rural Municipality ward no. 3. The generated power will be evacuated to connect with making switching at Narayan Municipality, Dailekh District. The project is of run-off-the-river type with weir level at about 1300 m and powerhouse level at about 1060 m respectively. The water from the intake is diverted to the water conveyance system through gravel trap, approach canal and settling basin. And then water is feed into powerhouse throughthe pressurized pipe to hit the turbine and generate electricitywhich is evacuated to national grid through 33 Kv transmission line.
